Directions from Altrincham Station
Come out of the Station on to Stamford New Road and turn left. Go along Stamford New Road, through the first and second sets of traffic lights, and continue until you reach the third set of traffic lights. Take the right fork into The Downs and carry on until the road splits in two. You will see two pillar boxes on the left; our entry is immediately after the pillar boxes
Directions from J6, M56
Follow the signs for Hale and Altrincham onto the A538 Hale Road. Stay on this road until you come to the mini-roundabout at the end (about 2 1/2 miles). At the mini-roundabout turn right (Ashley Road). At the next traffic lights, turn left into the Downs. Go up the Downs until the road splits in two. You will see two pillar boxes on the left; our entry is immediately after the pillar boxes and the visitor parking spaces are by the steps.
Directions from J7, M56
Follow the signs for Altrincham onto the A56. At the first set of traffic lights turn right (signposted Hale and Bowdon). Go forward through next set of traffic lights and then straight over mini-roundabout. At the next traffic lights, turn left into the Downs. Go up the Downs until the road splits in two. You will see two pillar boxes on the left; our entry is immediately after the pillar boxes and the visitor parking spaces are by the steps.
